Ways to Help
Volunteer

The Historical Society is always looking for volunteers to assist with maintaining the historic building and grounds, working at events, and participating in the running of the organization.
Some of our volunteering options include:
-
helping plan or working at one of our many events
-
serving as a presenter or helper for one of our history-related programs
-
working in the historic house gardens
-
assisting with any task during our monthly work days
-
becoming a trustee
Help us with our "Window Fund"

In order to complete the replacement of all of the windows in our historic house, we still need to raise $20,000.

Any amount you can afford to give puts us one step closer to ensuring that the building remains structurally sound and weather-proofed.
Become a Member

Donate
Donations, big and small, are what help us maintain this local treasure and its grounds as well as provide free, history-related programming to area schools and residents throughout each season. We will soon need to repair and replace window casings and lintels on the main building.
Your donations are always welcome. Help us continue to maintain the Parks-Bentley Place property keep the history of our region alive by sending your donation to us at:
